Ok, no it's not a blockbuster. No, there are no wild car chases. This does not have any special effects. No super Hero or crazed Villain. No animation here either. So, with all that said, why go see this movie? It's a BIG break from the norm with a simple but intriguing story and great acting. This won't be for everyone, but it should be remembered because I feel that there will some Oscars tossed this way. Richard Jenkins, always plays a supporting role. You probably won't recognize his name, but he was superbly cast. It's not necessarily a feel good movie, but more of a make you think movie. If you don't have it available on a screen near you, at least rent it when it comes out on DVD. PS; Tim (reviewer) I appreciate your intellectual reviews, please continue...

Beautifully acted and compelling for such a quiet film. It draws you in to the story because you develop a natural attachment to some otherwise unfamiliar characters. It avoids cliche and gets the viewer so up wrapped up with these wonderfully human characters that you really want to do something about what you've seen when you leave the theater. What more can you ask! It's film that means something, allows you to think, with excellent acting, a strong story, and compels action. If you are in fact so motivated the website tells you how to follow up. Don't let this - what they used to call 'sleeper' (meaning a film you might miss amidst the brouhaha of snazzier films) - don't let it slip past.
